To our athletes, who bear his name, he stands for courage, honesty, fair play, and good sportsmanship. To our graduates, he stands for the hope, confidence, and appreciation on which their future is based. To the rest of those who are striving toward their graduating years he stands for deter- mination and a willingness to face whatever may come into their lives. This tribute we pay to the ideals for which the Whiteface is our symbol. l JlAiX: . li}- i 3H n fD x UiJ ' ' acArrwruJjiah Ti ..( himaltJy cloMU As you turn these pages, you will find the story of what happened in our school year of 1947- ' 48, We ha V e tried in every ma nn e r to make this book a true representation of theim- portant events, just as they happened.
