This game brouglgtgout the best in Jefferson County competitive- ness and the Cats emerged with an impressivei 83-74 victory in which six Blackcats scored in double figures and loomed as the obvious favorite over Festus, an upset winner over number one seated DeSoto in the semifinals, Obvious! The onlyjthing obvious about the finaslivstlpof the regional tournament was that Fes- be mar-sing the trip to the state itti and Herky would hang up their sneak- ers. A stunning 60-52 upset rang down the ciltiiitainion an exciting and successful season for the dedicated, talented, and impressive 1974-75 Blackcat Basketball Squad.
