'IG-INNI9 CLUB IIZHKIEIS TO JUNIOI2 I'IIGH SCHCDOIS Competition with other junior high schools kept the Tennis Club busy during the year. In the spring, Mr. Tom Blackstone, sponsor, and players traveled to other junior high schools to compete with players with their own ability. Along with learning how to sail, the Sailing Club had many boat races at Howarth Park. They also Went to boat shows. Mr. Carlo Bottini and Mr. Ed Silverman taught the members the rules of sailing and helped them to become better boat handlers.
