Jfunzaeuwax SIGMA ya aff 9204, Rain or shine, humanities had activities going. The tirst activity of the year was POW Day. Students had the chance to sample what being a POW was all about-exercises on the lawn in the morning, soup and stale bread for lunch, guards who told you what to do, etc. A visit to the Renaissance Faire helped students get ideas for their own fair in the spring and also let them sample exotic foods, games and wares. The Christmas season brought the Ethnic Banquet at Which each student brought food from hisfher ethnic background. Goodies in- cluded sauerkraut and sausage, crepes, fish and chips, etc. Field trips included a trip to San Francisco to the de Young Museum and ACT to see OTHELLO. CTOP LEFTJ Mark Vinella, a guard, orders POWs to do calisthenics on POW Day. CTOP RIGHTJ Seth Asbell, Monica Schulz, and Kim Bagala fill their plates during the Ethnic Feast.
