Student Bodi President I John McCarthy began his term as Student Body President in the tall semester of 1959 with amazing energy and capability. His slogan. Hoover on High, was certainly a boost to the spirit of the student body. He took a great interest in the problems around school and chalked up a long list of successful projects. 20
