ROD O'MEARA, in his years at Hoover, was known as an outstanding athlete, scholar, and just an all-around fellow. He directed the cabinet through a most successful semester and set a high example for his classmates to live up to. Chosen by his teammates as captain of the varsity football eleven, he showed good sportsmanship on the gridiron, and many was the time he thrilled those in the grandstands. Rod will long be remembered at Hoover for his quiet manner, good looks, and friendly smile. 10
