Members of the Graduating Class of I956: The time of your graduation is an appropriate time for you to loolc baclr over the past three years to see what you have accomplished. lt is also the time to loolc forward to a future which will be filled with varied opportunities. To you who have made the best of your time in forming habits of concentration and study, in developing physical and mental strength, and in practicing right attitudes toward your fellow students, retrospect will be a pleasure. To you who feel that you have not made the best of your opportunities, looting baclr will be a more painful process. It is best for you to forget the past and loot into the future with deter- mination to overcome obstacles, to improve yourself, and to malce a success of your life. As you loot baclc over your high school days, may your memories of l-loover be happy memories and may the friendships made with fellow students and faculty members be a source of pleasure to you in the coming years. lt is my wish that each one of you may feel free to return often to Hoover and that you will continue your interest in and your support of the ideals and traditions of l-loover High, which each one of you has helped to establish, May we loolr forward to seeing you at future reunions and homecomings.
