AARUP, JERE ELIZABETH A transfer from Elsinore Union High, she majored in music and in social science and especially enjoyed her chemistry class. .lere was a member of the Drama Club and of the G. A. A. and is a life member of the C. S. F. She is enthusiastic about basketball and baseball. but doesn't like butch hair cuts. You will probably see her next year at State College. ABBOTT, EDDIE Ed is well known for his butch hair cut. He majored in Spanish, but wasn't too fond of his botany class. He was on the J. V. and Varsity basketball teams and was a member of the Lettermen's Club. His present goal is to graduate from school and then attend Junior College. ABELARDO, DOLORES MARY Dee has shiny black hair and a sparkling smile. She had a language major. but civics was her 'favorite class. She was a member of the Swimming Club and especially enjoyed basketball and volleyball. Dee's favorite pastimes are photography and dancing. She hopes to enter the advertising field after graduation. ABERNATHY, GEORGE Quite the young executivel He was a member of the Ecivres, C. S. F.. Thespians, and Quill and Scroll, was Business Manager of the Cardinal, and took the part of Mr. Martindale in the Senior Play. His ambition is to own a newspaper and. naturally, his favorite class was advanced journalism. George majored in mathematics and in languages and will attend U. S. C. ADAMS, ALLEN Better known around school as Tony, he has attractive brown eyes and dark wavy hair. Trying to get by girls standing around in the hall is his pet peeve. He majored in science and in mathe- matics, while art was his favorite class. Tony enjoys spending his leisure time hunting. He will at- tend State College after gradua- tion. ADAMS, JACK FRANK Jack is one of Hoover's taller boys. He majored in mathe- matics, while physiology took first place as his favorite class. He was on the Varsity track team, is most enthusiastic about swim- ming. and says that his two pet peeves are studying and some people. To become an insurance investigator is his presnt ambi- tion. ADAMS, NEIL Neil is a nice fellow who is always seen with a butch hair cut. His major was mathematics, and he especially enjoyed his physics class. His favorite pastimes are sailing and playing the accordion. while he says that spinach is his pet peeve. To attend San Diego State and to become an engineer are two things he would like to do. ADAMS, PEGGY - Peg has naturally curly hair and a sunny smile. She enjoys and excels in figure skating. She majored in languages and in dra- matics, especially enjoying her drama class, as was evident by her portrayal of Mrs. Hotchkiss in the Senior Play. Peg has three ambitions: acting, learning to fly a plane, and traveling in Europe. You will be seeing her next year at State College. ADDESSO, RICHARD Richard is a quiet and thought- ful person. He is one of Hoover's more artistic students and so. quite naturally, he had an art major. Art was also his favorite class. and to continue in the study of art is his ambition. He is a member of C. S. F., his hobby is music. and he is planning to attend U. C. L. A. in the fall.
