We lost to San Diego and Sweetwater. Later in a practice game the Cards defeated the Cavemen 5-3. Most outstanding performances were turned in by Paul, Clary, and Gaughen, but without the expert help of McCoy, l-ledquist, Jones, Nenna, Wayne, and Jack McColl the team couldn't have captured the Pomona Tournament Championship.
