To the boys from Hoover who have given their lives in World War ll, We, the l945 graduates of Herbert Hoover High School, wish always to' remember our fellow students who have made the supreme sacrifice during this war. Many of Hoover's former graduates and some of our classmates have already given their lives in order that all of the peoples of the world may enjoy a lasting peace, free from tyranny and oppression, intolerance and slav- ery. lt is to these valiant Americans that we dedicate our annual, praying that their sacrifice shall not have been in vain.
