Since that time the June class ot '35 has seen its school ascend even higher into the heights ot tame. In tootball, ever the toremost sport, it has grown trom a little- heard ot team into a hard tighting machine that is a serious tactor tor any- one to deal with. As a climax, it has now been admitted into the powertul Bay League. Similarachievements could be related tor the other sports and activities also it there was room tor the story. During its Senior B term, the class chose Bfll Noon tor its president. Bill was well assisted by Carl I-Iendel as vice president: Fred .Iensen as secretary: and Marion Ruting as treasurer. Delzoe Miller was chosen to lead the Senior A class with the assistance ot: Woodrow I-Ielm, vice presidentg Marion Ruting, secretary: and Bill Noon, treasurer. For the tirst time the Senior play was put on tor tour nights. The title was the Torchbearers and was held April 3, 4, 5, and 6. May I5 the class boarded a tleet ot trucks and spent the day at Pine Valley. This was the tirst time that a June class had gone to the moun- tains tor ditch day. The next important date on the Senior calendar was Vespers, held Sunday, June 9. Tower day was held the tollowing Tuesday, ,Iune II. The grand climax, graduation, was held Wednesday, June I2. Amidst a battery ot tloodlights and tlowers, two hundred and torty- one strong, selt-reliant men and women were sent torth to meet the world. May they meet with Success!
