FLOYD A. JOHNSON MEMBERS ot the Graduating Class ot June l935 - - - ln the months and years that now have their close you have tormed habits ot mind that will now help to determine your outlook on lite. Each year the world about you is changing and each year the challenge tor young people becomes greater. With the spirit ot cheertulness that has marked your stay with us and with a high aim in your mind you hold two ot the prime requisites to success. If you have not already done so, may you early determine your course through lite and then depend not upon your genius but upon faith in yourselt, diligence, earnestness ot purpose and hard worlc. Christopher Columbus, during his long ocean voyage, wrote on the ship's log each day We sailed westward which was our course and this voyage resulted in the discovery ot a continent. Great developments and discoveries will certainly take place within the next titty years and you people are the ones who will be called upon to help bring them about so set your goal and steer a straight course toward it.
