In addition to my regular studies in Communications, lhad four inter- est areas or electives. Communications CEngIishj dealt with verbal, written, physical, and mass communications. And for three weeks we studied our own personal values and beliefs. For mass media, I worked with video recording equip- ment. My interest areas were first aid, tennis, chorus, and dance. The chorus performed twice, and I performed in a duet at our dance concert. The summer ga ve me a taste of college life and being on my own. I would not take the world for those six weeks. John P.
