i,...h. ,- i. A -A h, , A. -1- WWW In September of 1951, forty-nine confused Freshmen were accepted into the ranks of dear old H. H. S. After being initiated by the Sophomore class we elected Ralph Guthrie President, with Billy Staplesas Vice President. Our Sponsor was Mr. Dickson. At the Senior party, Carl Hell won the talent show for the Freshman class. Margaret Bagshaw was elected cheerleader wt or our class that all. In the spring we sponsored our first high school party, which was very successful. We ended our year with a trip to Spring Mill State Park. We began the Sophomore year with thirty-nine students. Billy Staples 1n the President's chair this time,with Ralph as Vice President, and Mr. Scott as air sponsor. Ralph was elected King of the High School. We wound up the Sophomore term with another trip to Spring Mill State Park. The text was every busy year for the thirty-one students left in the Junior class. Dividing into two teams,with Earl Conroy and Carolyn Bundrenm team captains, we mld conces- sions at the basketball games. Larry Dean was our Junier class president, with Frances Lewis as Vice President. Margaret Bagshaw and Doris Dunn were elected cheerleaders out of our class. Ralph Guthrie won two trophies, one for being vetedMost Valuable Player', md also the I'Free Throw. trophy was awarded to him. With Mrs. Eberhard guiding us we gave the Seniors a banquet at Clirty Inn. The Junior year was completed with a trip to Butler State Park. Having dwindled down to a mere but mighty twenty-five students, we again elected Larry Dean as President, with Earl Cenroyas Vice President. We sponsored a very success- ful paper drive, IbI'lowed bym even more wccessful magazine sale. Billy Dietrich was high salesman with $177.00. Five people were awarded oscars, they were as follews: Billy Dietrich, Steve Rothbauer, Marcella Smith, Doris Terry and ,Larry Dean. Margaret Bagshaw and Doris Dunn were elected cheerleaders again this seem, that makings total or three years for Margaret and two for Doris. Miss Barbara Dunlevy is our Sponsor.
