LAST WILL and TESTAMENT or the 1949 Senior Class or Henryville High School We, the Seniors of 1949, having minds in varying degrees of insanity and wishing to do Justice to the Seniors of 1950, do make this our last will and testament .... First, to our long-suffering faculty, we leave thanks for put- ting up with us and extend all of our sympathy in having to race the incoming classes .... Miss Barbara, our advisor, may have our English grades and the work and effort we have put forth with her as our Sponsor .... To the Juniors, goes the Job of producing the 'Hornet's Nest! and the Memories of H. H. S. in 1949 and 1950 .... The SOphomores are 19;; our ability to get along as a class with a minimum of arguments .... 0d the Freshmen, Seniors of '52, evolves our adeptness at keeping out of trouble and becoming Seniors after only four years of hard work .... As a class, to Dear Old H. H. S. we leave. Just LEAVEza .... Now for the individual will: .... I, FRED ALDRICH, will Miss Barbara my great love for English, especially poetry. Darrell Woodlock may have my have my ability to get excuses for classes .... I, JAMES BASHAM, grant Mr. Adams my ability to get along with certain Agriculture Students. For Marshall Swisher, I leave my ability to get along with Katherine Pfister .... I, SHIRLEY CONROY, will to Pauline Collins my front row seat in Govern- ment, earned because of the C which begins my name. Gene Schafer, may have either my superiority as a seamstress or my ability to get along with peOple named Kioslen, whichever one she feels she needs more I, REGINA DONNOE, will to Austin Thomas my great artistic ability and to Inez Zollman my ability to get along smoothly with all the teachers .... Me, PHYLLIS ERICK- SON, N0 MENTION T0 SOUNDNESS OF MIND, W111 Charlene Hayes my ability to blow bubble gum without making it pop; and to William Campbell my ability to get Geometry .... I, FORREST HALL, Will Miss Waltz my Pepsodent smile. And Sue McKean may have my trips to the barber shop so she can see the barber I, BOYD JORDAN, of sound mind and body, leave all my personal belongings and books found floating around the school to Maud Guernsey, and I leave a Special parking place, which is reserved at all times for myself at the graveyard, to Mary Eleanor Guernsey .... I, WESLEY METZGER, being of insane mind and clumsy body, do hereby will to Rex Smallwood my Job as Art Editor for a paper that has no pictures; and to Gene Schafer, I will my loud mouth and my ability to use it ,... I, JAMES MINER, give my beard to Max Montgomery so he need never shave. Io Wilma Staples, I leave all of Watson's love .... I, MARCELLA MONTGOMERY, will my great typing Speed to Marjorie Montgomery; and to Mrs. Koehler, my long, curly, blond hair .... I, THOMAS MULLINS, having no mind to be sane but a very sound body, will Virgil Basham my new car so he won't have to walk out to Mary Eleanor's; and, to Anna Guthrie, my ability to get along with Egon Davis .... I, KATHERINE PFISTER, will to Carroll Griffin my ability to talk in Government Class and get others into trouble. My ability to keep a slim figure goes to Nancy McNay .... I, GEORGE SCHAFER, being in the usual condition of mind and body, do bequeath to Mr. Dickson my black hair. I also will Charles Popp my tiny nose and my ability to take girls out and get them home .... I, DINA SMALLWOOD, will to Miss Goetsch my ability to boil water without burning it. And to Maud Guernsey and Anna Guthrie, I will my beautiful, long, blond hair .... I, TINA WAGGONER, being of unsound mind and body, will my hehpmh to Sue Metzer and my ability to get shonthand to Charlene Hayes .... I, WILMER WATSON, will my superior basket- ball ability to Malcom Omer, which should enable him to be on the first five in '49 and '50; to Jimmy Parrish, I leave my transportation, which he certainly needs to get to Bethlehem .... I, PAULINE.WOOD, will to Clarence Petty my naturally curly-hair; and to my brother, Donald Wood, I will my great11. th, since he thinks I'm so short .... I, GLENA ZOLLMAN, will to Betty Ste tenbenz some of my tinngs in H. H. 8., my Special assembly seat, and from last year's will, my little feet.
