x 2 K. .. 1 .. - This year Henryetta is indeed privileged to have Mr. Lyle Berryhill as our new Superintendent. He comes to us from Ramona, Oklahoma, where he served as Superintendent for two years. He has brought a new enthusiasm into the school by his sincere interest and participation in student activities. We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you, Mr. Berryhill. A message from the Superintendent Life is an endless process of learning, and the years spent in formal education here in the Henryetta School System is only one phase of that process. It takes the co-operation of students and educators alike to make a successful school system, and each takes from the system according to what he puts into it. As educators, we endeavor to give you students not only the subject matter necessary for higher education and vocations, but also varied experiences that can help you later, as adults, to become more useful citizens in your community. We try to accomplish these goals in the least painful manner possible. A successful school system needs, and we shall try to have, a combination of pride, effort, academic excellence and leadership by teachers, administrators and student body alike. The best way to achieve these goals is to increase the level of participation of individual students in the varied 'fields of endeavor. Working together, we shall make this a successful 1973-74 school year. Brenda Martin, secretary to Mr. Berryhill, is now completing her second year in the Superintendent's office. She does an excellent job of coping with her many duties and responsibilities. o I
