WILSON's recent operations with t.he United States' SEVENTH FLEET in the Western Pacific in l976-77 have demonstrated the flexibility, mobility and multi-purpose capability of the Guided Missile Destroyer. Successfully participating in every type of operation for which she was designed, WILSON met all comrmitrments with huge success. While establishing her can do reputation, WILSON participated in KANGAROO II, TAE QUAN DO XIV, READIEX 1-77 and other exercises with US Navy vessels as well as units from Australia, New Zealand and South Korea. USS HENRY B. WILSON's reputation can onJ.y be a reflection on how hard the crew has worked to demonstrate their professionalism, dedication and determination. This pictorial is the record of that very successful WESTPAC cruise. COMMANDI G OFFI ER COMMANDER ROBERT TAYLOR SCOTT KEITH, JR. U.S. NAVY Commander Robert Taylor Scott Keith, Jr. U.S. Navy, was born in Washington, D.C., on 4 November l936. He attended the U.S. Naval Academy and was commissioned an Ensign on 6 June l958. After receiving his commission he served successively in USS ROBINSON QDD-5625, USS TURNER JOY CDD-950, and on the Staff of COMDESDIV I2. He then attended Nuclear Power Training for a year and returned to sea duty for a tour in USS BAINBRIDGE CDLGN-255 which was followed by two years at the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California, where he earned a MS Degree in Electronics. Commander Keith next served at sea as Executive Officer, USS PARSONS CDDG-335 and reported to USS HENRY B. WILSON QDDG-75 from a tour at the Bureau of Naval Personnel. Commander Keith is married to the former Susan Ring of Coronado. California.
