Commander Warren L. Story is a resident of New York City, New york. He received his Bachelor of Science from Queens College, New York, in 1951, and received his commission upon graduation from Gfflcer Candidate School, Newport, Rhode Island, in 1952. Commander Story's first assignment was as Gunnery Officer and later as Executive Ofhcer aboard the USS Triumph CAM-3235. After decommissioning of the Triumph, He served as Commanding Officer of the USS Lamar CPCE-8995. During this tour he accepted a regular commission in the U. S. Navy. After gradu- ating from the General Line School in 1957, he served aboard the USS Frank Knox CDDR-7425 during which time the Knox made an eight-month WESTPAC deployment. Then followed a three-year tour as Assistant Naval Attache, Paris, France. ln 1969, Commander Story was assigned as Command- ing Gfficer, USS AGILE CMSO-4215. After a normal Mediterranean deployment, he attended the Armed Forces Staff College, graduating in 1966. Prior to reporting aboard the USS HENRY W. TUCKER QDD- 875j he was Deputy Commanding Oflicer of the Naval Intelligence Processing Support Activity in Washington, D.C. Commander Story is married to the former Barbara A. Newman of Forest Hills, New York. They have three children.

LCDR JAMES L. MAY EXECUTIV LCDR James L. May arrived aboard Tucker just prior to our deployment overseas in June, 1968 and served as Executive Officer for over a year and a half. Due greatly to his efforts Tucker continued as a first class WESTPAC destroyer. In November, 1969 he departed for duty in Washing- ton, D.
