HERliERT STEM Presiclcfnt VIRGIL TEDDER mn I HSSUIIHTIUH The Henry Grady High School Alumni Association is passing into its sixth year of success and achievement. The ever-growing project of the Alumni Association is to, in some small way, re- ward for school spirit shown in outstanding graduating seniors. Due to the high calibre spirit found in the entire student body at Henry Grady it is our only regret that we cannot present individual awards to each graduate. We of the Association have felt as much a part of the school as any of the other fine organizations found at Henry Grady. The wonderful fellowship obtained at Alumni meetings, as well as other Grady gatherings, has offered much happiness to all of us. NNE SOLUJ fjywwe January Seniors had plans for their early grad- uation, while the June graduates held fears for the five months of school still left in existence. But all the worry was ceased, when the Silver Slipper Ball slipped upon us Once more. Seniors and underclassmen alike laid aside their books to plan the dance Of the year. Two Seniors were elected by the entire student body to rule over the ball, and be attended by a court composed of two representatives from each class. It waSn't until the night Of the big dance at the Biltmore ballroom, that the winners were dis- closed, and Patsy Macon as Cinderella, and Billy Savell as her Prince Charming marched into the hall.
