Both of the teams played six games the varsity winning two and the reserves winning three. Four of the games were played on our own field. Eleven girls on each team received their letters. Marilyn Allum and Penny Bennett were co-captains of the varsity' Sandra Dougherty and Fran Wedge were co-captains of the reserves. It was an outstanding season for a new team. The girls played very well against more experienced teams.
