The Dance Committee was not only in charge of having the sock hops after foot ball and basketball gamesg but it also sponsored the Sweetheart Ball, Senior Prom, Football and Basketball Dances. The state con- vention of the Kentucky Future Re- tailers Association was held at the Lafayette Hotel on March 3. At an Employer-Employee Banquet held on April 22 Achievement Trophies were awarded to Betty Markwell and Paul Reed of Henry Clay for academic standing and favorable employee reports. At another time in the year Pat Atkins of Henry Clay was elected State Treasurer of the Ken- tucky Future Retailers Association.
