The new edition of the Blue Devils lost to Klaal- ison High and DuPont llanual by scores of 21 to IQ and 34 to 141. Veterans -Iohnson and Cunning- ham played niee games in both Contests, but the loss of the regulars was felt too severely. llenry Clay ivon over a highly touted but over- 1'Sl'lIllIll'l'1l Coal Grove, Ohio, team by a score of 33 to 7. Abney, new center, hit his stride in this game for a total of I0 points. Paris lligh School handed the Blue Devils their seeoncl C. K. C. defeat 30-17. The Georgetown lligh Buffaloes in the next game defeated the Blue Devils zo to IS. johnson, the only man able to hit the hoop with any eonsisteney, counted IO points for Henry Clay. The lilue Devils then got bark in the winning column by trimming Danville and Frankfort by scores of 18 to IS and jl to 19. tlohnson was outstanding on both offensive and de- fense in the Danville gznne, and the team scored at will against Frankfort. Completely reversing their past form, the Blue Devils were beaten 21 to lg by Shelbyville in a very ragged game. Against a superior Paris team the lllue Devils put up a game light, but lost by Il score of 36 to 21. Let's go places
