The final score was 6-6. The first quarter was scoreless. The Eagles got up steam in the second quarter. A pass from LaPorte to 'Weeks was incom- plete. Melton took the ball through the center for 9 yards. l.aPorte on a keeper, added 2 more. Lankford on a cut-back, made 10 yards and a first down. LaPorte's pass to Weeks netted 22 yards and another first down. Melton hit center for 4 and Langford hit left side for 5. LaPorte on a keeper, made 4 and first down. La- Porte made 4 more on a keeper and LaPorte's pass to Weeks netted 17 yards. Melton failed to gain in plunge at center.
