Jacufty A statue lies hid in a block of marble, and the art of statuary only clears away the superfluous matter and removes the rubbish. The figure is in the stone; the sculpture only finds it. What sculpture is to a block of marble, education is to a human soul. The philosopher, the saint, or the hero, the wise, the good or the great man, very often lies hid and concealed in a plebian, which a proper education might have disinterred, and have brought to life. -----Addison 3 The Sculptures . . .

Dedication The class of 1965 dedicates this annual to MRS. EMIL1E MAGDANZ. Her knowledge of nursing today and hopes for nursing tomorrow have inspired us to seek new horizons in our chosen profession. Her genuine interest in us as nurses and as individuals has motivated us to seek satisfaction of our goals. She has set an example of herself as a professional nurse, an active American, and a warm human being for each of us to follow in our own way.
