The Homecoming court con- sisted of Jim Olliffe and Kim Barnes, Dennis Salten- berger and Jerri Sayles, Dennis Steers and Queen Brenda Dearing, and Greg Metier and Janet Batsell. Homecoming consisted of the game, halftime act- ivities, and an after- game dance. HOMECOMING WINTER FORMAL 38 TOP; Members of the royal court included Sue Bozgoz, Queen Jane McDonald, King Vern Latta, Mark Croxford, Patty Griffin, and Kathy Griffin. FLAG CORPS MAJORETTE OPPOSITE PAGE: The newest group to represent Henley High School is the Flag Corps. These girls marched and performed with the Marching Band. They were re- sponsible for making up their own routines and for making their own outfits. The girls on the team were Kim McQuire, Ellen Murphy, Jane McDonald, Karen Alberto, Katrina Andretta, Robin Mil stead, Dena Munjar, and Tanna Cooley. Captains were Ellen Murphy and Robin Milstead. LEFT: Verna Smith is considered one of the best majorettes in the state and her many trophies prove this is true. ABOVE: Verna performs with the band to the delight of the crowd. f 65 DANCE TEAM The team works all year for the state competition. Before leaving each year the girls put on a dance dress rehearsal for the school and parents. Here they perform one of the many ripples in this year's dance. The team placed sixth in competition with all other AA schools. Terri keeper and Gwen Castleberry were chosen for the all-state dance team. This is a real honor as only ten girls are chosen throughout all the AA dance teams in the state. LEFT: There were only three senior girls on this year s dance team.
