Q. pnoqnam lntnoouceo A new large shop and the introduction of an Ag program were the two big events in the in- dustrial arts area this year. The new shop is considered to be one of the best AA shops in Oregon. Many students enrolled in the new agriculture classes and the program got off to a fine start with both the students and the community. Top left: Mr. Lee Miles discusses shop rules with John Wescom. Elective Classes Contmu ,K ,I , s The elective system continued to work in the English depart- ment. New classes offered this year were Literature of the Old West, Folk Lit. , Basic Composition, Tournament Speaking and Debate, and English Seminar. One new teacher, Mr. Tom Omli, was added to the staff. The tea- chers enjoyed using the English office area for curriculum meetings.
