Some of the new semester courses carried very inviting titles such as YOYO fYou're On Your Ownj, Grow or Die, and Who Am I? There seems to be a never ending list of things to do for this yearly event. Earning money, setting a date, selecting a theme, locating a place for the banquet and movie, planning the decorations, finding a band, picking the court, and decorating, dec- orating, decorating, kept the class busy for most of the year. They did, however, find time to build the winning homecoming float. K i E ,Lp wg 4'3 ' -,, 'DY 4 .,..f '4 x.g,..,. 5' Top: Women's lib took over when election time came around for the junior class. We were new at the many activities that surrounded us, so we just stood back and tried to see how things were done. At homecoming time, our float came in last place. A little higher ranked as sophomores, we had a memorable year. We held a mag- azine sale and ordered our class rings. At homecoming our float came in third. Our class had plenty of spirit that year, for we often won the spirit stick at pep assemblies. As underclassmen, we were ready to go on. The junior year was a fun and busy one with many activities such as the T.V. raffle. Our float again came in third. ln the spring the prom centered around the theme Just an Old-Fashioned Love Song. As mighty seniors we approached this year with each of us trying to reach that one goal. The year brought on the spirit of 74 with the senior banquet, the senior prom, senior hick day, and senior dress-up day. Our homecom- ing float came in third. . .again. The senior girls had a suspense- ful year waiting to see who would be homecoming and prom queens. Everyone had that good feeling of being the first class to graduate from the new building. As we look back on these four years, we find ourselves ready to travel the 'Long a.nd Winding Road. ' Cheryl Daniel 2 .
