Executive Officer aiiti Deparlineiil Heads LCDR J. H JACOBSON, JR Lcdr. Jacobson was born on 23 September 1926 in SectHe, Washington. He entered the Naval Academ in 1946 and graduated in 1950. Upon graduation he reported aboard the USS Boise iAGB-2i. Then to MINERON 3 in Korea as small boat Sweep Officer. During Dec. 1950 he reported aboard the USS Worcester CL-1441 as Third Divi- sion Officer, then to a tour of duty on the Staten Island AGB-5 as First Lieutenant. In March 1955 Lcdr. Jacobson was Gunnery Officer on the Laffey DD-724 , then to San Diego, California as officer in charge of Class A FP School. His next tour of duty was with COMLANBSHIPRON 3 as Staff OPS Officer, then he was back where he served at the Naval Academy, as on Instructor in the Command Department. On 22 July 1963 he reported on board the Henley to his present billet as Executive Officer. Lcdr. Jacobson is married to the former Noncy C Petrey of Portsmouth, Va.
