Early in the history of Hendrick Hudson HighSchool, Miss Sloan organized the Library Club, The present edition has sixteen members from the ninth through the twelfth grades. The chief purpose of the club is to help with the mechanical work of the library such as desk duty and keeping library materials in order. Those qualifying receive emblems on Moving-Up Day. Hendrick Hudson High School is proud that it has lO0'7o membership in the Junior Red Cross. The local chapter, under the guidance of Miss Testa, has helped to decorate the hospitals on holidays and to send overseas boxes. The special project was the making of Afghans and lap robes which were later donated to the veterans. One student from each homeroom is eligible for membership. Officers were J.
