Wildflowers are an attraction of this area. A -. ..-W . 4 O The beauty of local water falls is inspir- ing to many. Our Home Town 4 ,hmumf tg! la-5' u- g Hendersonville is the City of Four Seasons and the home of the HHS Bearcats. A southern town, nestled in the mountains, it exhibits a down-home friendliness for those who live here. A hike in the Blue Ridge Mountains is just an hour's drive away. Many lakes, rivers and streams in the surrounding area offer excellent fishing, sailing and other water sports. With the cool weather, sweaters and letter jackets make their way into the halls of HHS. Ski season is antici- pated by the many local ski buffs, while others can only wish for spring, warm weath- er and summer vacation. Small town activities are the pastimes of many of the students at HHS. Cruising Main Street and checking out the scene at McDonald's are a must on a Saturday night.
