Firm and strong, united are we. Rah, rah HHS rah, rah HHS . . . Hoorah for HHS! The school song con- tinued to be sung loud and clear through victory and de- feat because the Bearcats stood together. Spirit climbed throughout the year. The Sophomore and Junior classes dominat- ed in showing the most spirit. All classes made their pres- ence known at Pep Rallies and ballgames. Bearcat fans came out with Red 81 White, bandanas and enthusiasm to cheer the Cats on to victory. The Bearcat team demon- strated unity by raising their arms during the fourth quar- ter of each game. Coach Brintnall had originally began this to encourage the team to keep playing their hardest. At each game, the symbol of the raised arrn became more evi- dent and referred to as fourth quarter. The fans, led by the cheerleaders, picked up on fourth quar- ter and waved the red and white bandanas high in the air. One highlight of showing spirit was the cropping of hair by Bearcat men. Pep Board continued to boost the 'Cats by selling spirit towels. Throughout the year, the Bearcats together rose to the occasion. The 1982-83 cheerleaders led the cheers boosting Bearcat spirit. 1 va-.tnbfiskv-ft Q X-E9 wg f .. ugh S 5- ' ,W-, , -in '32 ff-alfa.. Q ' L me 1--aft msn!
