There is a significant fact about the LAUREATE that none of us should forget. A tremendous amount of work and time has been spent primarily to honor individuals. It is not de- Signed to appeal to the masses, but only to you named herein. Here we have an image of that which was, and is to be--you. Hugh D. Randall Your work as students, school citizens, and Seniors is ably portrayed through the pages of the LAUREATE, It is through these pages that the images you have created during your school days are reflected. Here is the record of your achievements, dreams, and’aspirations. Future senior classes can look upon these and be moved to emulate your example of worthwhile accomplishments. C. M. King In the pages of this LAUREATE, the events of this school year are recorded so that they may be recalled as Images and memories of days gone forever. It is through this record that these moments and these happenings can be recreated and through the imagination lived again. We hope these memories will be happy ones for you. R. Hugh Lockaby 19
