ENTRANCE WEST Hendersonville High School Dedication The SENIOR CLASS proudly dedicates the 1957 LAUREATE to Mr. Hugh D. Randall. Mr. Randall came to HHS as principal the year we entered our Alma Mater and has since become Superintendent of City Schools. He has given of himself with patient humility to all who have come within the scope of his leadership. His worthy ideals, captivating spirit, and high integrity are implanted in the lives of those with whom he has worked. Foreword : Memory keeps a book. Whether we will or no. Life takes many a look Back to the long ago. Nights that we thought forgot, Days that we thought were done. Whether we will or not. Still come back to one. Flowers that we thought were dead. Dried in an empty cup. Thoughts that we thought were fled. Memory gathers up; Roses we throw away Thinking them faded then. Memory knows some day We shall desire again. Moments that could not last. Friends who have had to part; Things that we thought had passed Out of the mind and heart. Suddenly we recall. Suddenly we turn and look— And we shall find them all Kept in memory ' s book.
