We came to Henderson State College, from towns and farms, from apartments and split levels, from aflluence and needg we left behind not only our homes but a well-worn pattern of living. What did we expect from college? We didn't know-the key to suc- cess, instant self-confidence, overwhelming popularity? College was different. No matter what we had been told: it was just dilferent.
