Dedication - 1966-67 Miss J. E, Hicks is one of Henderson Institute's most outstanding teachers. She received her A. B. from Spellman College and M, A, from the University of Michigan. She enjoys teaching just as her students enjoy being with her in class. Her sincere interest in her students is genuinely appreciated. Miss Hicks has many interests other than teaching. Her hobbies include reading and music. The Panther staff is proud to dedicate this Annual to you Miss J. E. Hicks. ealimiion -1 96 7 'WW Because they have worked for and with us, because they have given generously of their time and wisdom--words are a poor substitute with which to express our sincere respect and admiration for these two people. They are chairman and co-chairman of the music department, sponsor of the Hen- derson lnstitute Marching and Concert Bands. They voluntarily give so much of their time to their students and their school. Everyone respects these two teachers and looks up to them for advice and help. They are never too busy to stop and talk with a student or to help the school in any way they can. In appreciation for such devoted service the Annual Staff proudly dedicates the 1967 Panther to Miss E. Drake and Mr. I. R. July.
