The basic idea in planning the Panther has been the creation of a book that will meet these requirements. Joyful times and thoughtful moments have been selected as subjects for the picture story of the year. Each division page features a well-known saying and a picture of some Historical place you may have seen during the year. The staff hopes you will begin reading the history of this year with a great deal of anticipation. When you close the book, it is hoped that you will have reaped a profit of renewed memo- ries ofthe days of the Black and Gold. The bewildered and somewhat frightened freshmen, the eager sophomores, the confident juniors, and the proud but somewhat sad faces of the seniors flood mighty halls of ivy to uphold and respect the loyalty of our alma mater, H.
