Spencer Co-Editor The members of the Senior Class of 1964 are proud to leave with you their memories of Henderson Institute in this 16th volume of the 1964 Panther. Some of the unique events of the past four years have been important and some of little value. The best moments we have experi- enced here can never be relived except in our annual. We sincerely hope that the 1964 Panther will cause each of you to work to preserve the customs, traditions and ideals of our school. Hedy C . Kennedy. This is significant because of his youth and his dra- matic interest in education and physical fitness. John F. Kennedy was dedicated to the strong and purposeful leadership of the United States. He was a man who gave an enviable image as a profound leader, a devoted and loyal family man, and an unwavering Christian seeking the Master religiously. Is not this image a challenge to the Graduating Class of 1964? The objectives sought by the president during his youth as he grew in stature were: to become well edu- cated, to have a purpose or goal, to manifest strength of character at all times and to be loyal to his God, his country, and to his family. The world awaits your eagerness, ambition, and dedication, Press on to the highest level of your ca- pacity. Sincerely, L. E.
