Sara C. Williams, an efficient Decorator, operates and owns an Interior Decorating Shop in Henderson and Warrenton, North Carolina. Erdine Carpenter has completed a four year business course at Cortez Peters Business School, Washington, D. C. Calonia Eaton, a capable secretary, is working in Dr. Maurice Henderson office in Henderson, North Carolina. Dedis Burwell, recently received her Ph. D. in French and is now em- ployed in the Division of Humanities at Columbia University, New York City. Mary Owens, Mary Branch and Bronetta Branch are working in the Public School system in Washington , District of Columbia. Evelyn Baskett, an outstanding dance instructor, is happily married to a band leader in San Francisco, California. Evelyn and her husband will ap- pear weekly on the television show Omnibus , Josephine Crews is a commercial Education instructor in Portland, Oregon and is making plans for a June wedding. Edwin Hayes, an electrician, has accepted the Vice Presidency of Columbus Water and Light Corporation, Columbus, Ohio. Carrie Davis is a bookkeeper at a large insurance company of Boston, Massachussetts. She resides on Fifth Avenue with her husband in summer. ArchieSoutherland is an atomic scientist in New York City. He has been appointed to supervise the building of an atomic laboratory at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Laura Mae Baskerville and Nellie Grey Branch are secretaries at the North Carolina Mutual Life Insurance Company, Durham, North Carolina. Annie Mae Allen is a famous concert artist in Chicago, Illinois. She appears weekly on radio and television with the Firestone Orchestra and Choirs Charles Williamson is a commercial pilot and has made definite plans to open a school for individuals interested in commercial aviation. 1

CLASS PROPHECY Dear Margaret, One summer afternoon one of my High School chums, Estelle Lewis who is one of the best secretaries of a firm in Fort Worth, Texas, visited my California home. We sat out in the garden and began reminiscing over our High School days. It all began when she told me that Grace Ward is now a famous Home Economics teacher at the University of California, and was recently elec- ted President of the American l-lomemaking Association. Grace is happily married to a famous doctor there and has two sweet children to comfort her in her cozy ranch style home. Bettie Taylor is living in Tampa, Florida with her husband, who is the owner of a two hundred acre fruit farm. Minnie Yarborough is a distinguished music teacher at the Washington High School, Raleigh, North Carolina. Fannie Alston is acting Dean of Women of Elizabeth City State Teachers College, Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Her experiences have been ex- citing. John A. Jones is a famous veterinarian in South Africa. He writes a weekly column in the New York Times for the benefit of his friends in America. Read after and carefully. Dorothy Hayes, a nurse in Bellevue Hospital, New York City, has just been offered a contract with Paramount Pictures to be the leading lady. Margaret'Bullock is superintendent of all nurses in one of Los Angeles largest hospitals. She is married to an intern there. James Hare is employed as an instructor at Morgan's College, Baltimore, Maryland in the Engineering Department. Her mastery in the Japanese language is amazing. Maurice Henderson is a throat specialist. He now works in a Harlem hospital in New York City. Yvonne Bullock, the famed French Department Head of Bennett College in Greensboro, North Carolina, is now on vacation in France, Deloris Knight recently received her Medical Degree from Meharry Medical College, Nashville, Tennessee, is now working for Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Vinell Taylor, a stenographer in a large town firm in New York City, New York. Mary Vaughan is now a singing star in Hollywood, California. She has appeared in the picture Sing a Song of Life.
