PROPHECY lConf I chamber of commerce were operating smoothly under the capable dlrectlon of Wayne Wil son In talklng wlth Wayne we learned more news of old friends The Radar Inter Com Station Central Control for all Intra Stellar communications was dnrected by Ronnie Hape and has staff Jerry Grlffm Charles Llklns and Bud Richmond The sub director for thus Sun Stellar Statnon was none other than Joe Coffman Has assustant Harry Tnllotson demon strated the latest In defense weapons and rockets fared by atomic fusion deslgned by Jackson Chadwell The men of the Mllltary Dlvlslon rode mslde the rocket It was a pleasant surprlse to recognize commander James Bantly He was carrying an automatic cosmac ray revolver deslgned by another old fraend Gary Tooley We saw Doug Gnbson the new commlssloner of the Solar Leagues With hlm were none other than Jimmy Jacobs a pntcher of the Solar Leagues and Eddie Nleten a runner for a team In the Solar League We stopped to get our space shlp clrcled the unnverse then headed back to earth Seenng Eugene Roberts Bully Haynes David Nncholson and Jlm Wnlson flshlng In the Bug Dapper we stopped for an mtervlew and saw Roger Cornbleet and Wendell Carmen huntnng the Bug Bear constellation wuth thenr Cams Malor We cllmbed aboard our rocket agann and Madellne Adams our stewardess served us with a rocket hlghball as we saw Clarence Duncan and Norma Vrlllnes rocketnng off to thenr second honeymoon rudnng the tall of a comet Bob Frey Kenneth Wnllnams and Ronnle Dossett out for a drlve nn thenr new flymg saucer buzzed us As we entered earth s atmosphere suddenly we saw three heavenly bodies' They were Sharon Farrar Alnce McCarty and Peggy Grlffln They were shlnlng brighter than any other star As Glenda Barnett Donna Dickerson Carolyn Nlnness and Barbara Grossman zoomed past us nn thenr convertible satelllte we saw George Anne Richmond makmg her cllmb up the Stalrway to the Stars Being guided In beautufully by Judy Burnette Sue Hancock and Judy Porter who operate the control tower our ship touched old mother earth We were met by three lovely flower gurls Phyllns Wright Jeanne Davus and Lnbby McCollom Passnng through the lobby of the airport we saw several of Beverly McClanahan s beautlfully painted murals Outside the airport we hauled a cab To our surprnse the drnver was lovely Lula Sharp Glvens On our way to the offlce to wrlte our excltlng scoop for the paper we saw a couple business stores owned by two of our old classmates Linda Wilson Cowan s Aprotlng Goods and Patsy Green s Green House At the newspaper offlce we were greeted by Carolyn White edltor of the socuety sectnon and Gayle Crutser the Lnterary edntor Wanting an our office was Dorothy Morrns our edutor and Pat Golday and Shnrly Joiner Private Secre tarles Weren t we fortunate to have been members of the class that graduated from Hender son Cnty Hugh School ln I9597 We thought at the time that many of the members of that class would go a long way Yes we thought that class was simply out of thus world Little did we know how far out they were gonng ALL IN ALL THIS HAS BEEN A MOST DELIGHTFUL EVENING WE JEANIE SUMMERS AND EDDIE OWENS, ARE HAPPY TO HAVE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO BRING YOU OUR PROPHECY OF EVENTS THAT WILL TAKE PLACE TWENTY YEARS FROM NOW, MAY 26, I979.
