PTZOPI-IECY It is now May 26, I979. e, Jeanie Summers and Eddie Owens, are reporters for the Universal Press. Traveling by rocket through outer space, seeking news, we recently renewed some acquaintances of twenty years ago . Arriving at the first Rocket Station we were amazed to see many friends. Among them were Sondra Stone and Sonny Ward wearing the celestial crowns of the Queen and King of Outer Space. ln the procession following the king and queen we recognized some of the ambassadors from the League of the Universe! the fleet-footed Jimmie Ray Willet from Mercury, the beautiful Judy Martin from Venus and the famous senator, Jerry Rhoads. Joining our friends in the royal procession we all went to breakfast at a Vitamin Cap- sule Inn owned by Billy Burton and Wayne Walton . Our meal was served by those specialists in Space Economics, Dorris Clark, Phyllis Anderson, Ruby Cobb and Lyndia Ellis. After a delicious breakfast, Louis Armstrong, the High Exalted President of Saturn, gave an informative lecture on Universal Law. Ray Hudson's Combo, consisting of Billy Brown, Steve Van Meter and Ray, entertained us after the lecture with music that makes the milky way smooth as milk. While our rocket was being serviced at an outer space service station operated by Sonny Mills and Marsha Connell, ,we bought a newspaper. Imagine our pleasure in seeing Carlisle Bailey's name as the editor. Reading the ads, we saw that Betsy Reid was sponsoring the pro- duction of Cosmic Ray Shampoo, guaranteed to rid your hair of Star-dust. on the front page of the paper we read that Mel Hunt, Tracy Mabrey, Paul Goodley and Kenneth Hut- cheson, who travel faster than the speed of light in their new rocket-ships, have been challenged to a race by Bobby Stone, the best driver on Earth. Jesse Oglesby, Melton Griffin and Franklin McCormick were the first to make an expedition to Pluto. David Ramsey, Tommy Owen and Sidney Smith were spending their vacations skiing on the rings of Saturn . A picture of Bobby Hayes, Bud Crafton and Sharon Freeman on the front page caught our eye. Because of the brightness of their heads they were being proposed as permanent residents to light the dark side of the moon . In Outer Space Science, Dr. Susannah English with the aid of her staff, Aloha Tapp, Nina Drury and Nancy Parker, were completing many successful biological experiments dealing with the plant and animal life found in the milky way. Drs. Eric Roberts, John Riggs, Carlos Miller and Shirley Vandiver were universal physicists, having computed the molecular construction of Betelguse, the brightest star. Viki Preston, Sherian Holmes, Carol Boswell and Judy Shelton were leaders of the Girls Outer Space Group, whose object was to investigate the masculine population in our neighboring planets. Sonny Beaven, Mike Pullen and Jean Porter, were teaching the latest dance steps of rocket propulsion to their many eager students. Starlit Beauty Shop, specializing in heavenly hair cuts, was operated by Josephine Evans and Retz Fulkerson. Wanda Collins, the fashion designer, and her staff, Carolyn Cox Norman, Judy Vaughn and Patti Hall advertise fashions out of this world. The business world in outer space is as complicated as everything else. The financial Director, Charlotte Steele and her assistant, Phyllis Walker, and the Inter-Planetary
