Per- sonality, leadership, physical and mental vitality, and knowledge are factors considered for future teachers. The purpose of the FTA program is to interest high school students in the teaching profession and President. I I i . u u u i t I . Anne Shaver to give them experience in this field. Each boy and girl student I Hman' ' ' ' ' ' Llbby Mccollsm teaches and observes in the classes of his or her Advisor ............. Miss Mary Frances Fisher choice. Emphasis is placed not only on secondary but also on elementary education. The club is open to all high school students with a C average and above. There are forty mem- bers in the FTA Club this year.
