Students taking French I, II, III, or IV with acceptable averages are eligible to join the French Club. The club is led by the officers and French Council, along with the sponsor, Mrs. Pace. In presenting a knowledge of France and its culture to the students, it creates fun and a sense of accomplishment. The French Club participates in school functions such as Stunt Night in which it presents a skit, and in Foreign Language Week. This year, the French Club won first prize for its car in the homecoming parade. It participates in an annual Christmas project for a needy family. The club increased its membership this year and the members are very proud of their fine work. 73
