In iT, we have Tried To Tell The sTory of our school year, which has now slipped under The heavy cur- Tain of Time-never To reTurn excepT in memory. Dur- ing The pasT year, some Time may have been wasTed buT mosT of iT was used To help The individual or The school in general. In all The ways iT was used-Time marched on! In one of his poems, Longfellow reminds us ThaT: Lives of greaT men all remind us, We can make our lives sublime, And deparTing leave behind us, FooTprinTs in The sands of Time.

Derdmfivu The careful supervision ot a school this size requires the services ot a strong and responsible leader-one whose integrity and resourcetulness is sufficient to cope with the ever-changing ideas and attitudes of the students. We feel that vve have such a counselor in our principal. His many duties, which include extracurricular activities, as vvell as school work, do not keep him from having time to be keenly interested in any personal problem that a student may have. He has always been able to lead us in the direction that vvill be most beneficial. He has tried in many ways and has succeeded in improving our school and community relations. Thus it is with recognition and deep appreciation of his many services that we dedicate this, the 1956 edition ot our Pep Pac, to Mr. F. D. Kesler, Principal of Henderson High School.
