CLASS HISTORY We the 5en1or Class of 1952 entered this 1nst1tut1on of learning in the fall of 1948 The leaves had turned red for that time of the year but we were still very green We were probably the greenest freshmen ever to enter this school We elected Bobby Renn as President Tyson ennette as VICC President Thelma Barchft as Secretary Bobby Young as Treasurer The homeroom teachers who gave us guiding hands were Miss Litaker Miss McDonald Miss Ellis and Mr Jlrmec In the fall of 1949 we again entered the portals of Henderson High School this time as seasoned Sophomores W1th Walter Parker as President F ranklm Elliott as VICC Pres1dent an1e Hunt as Secre tary and Tyson ennette as Treasurer another year passed success fully The highlight of the year was the choosing of sixteen of us to be waiters and waitresses at the unior Senior Banquet Our homeroom teachers were Miss Litaker Miss McDonald and MISS E is and upper classmen We elected Tyson ennette as Pres1dent Vir glnia Morris as VICC President Bobby Young as Secretary and Amaryllis Beasley as Treasurer We had the tremendous task of planning the junior Senior Banquet We had our class play a comedy called The Daffy Dills and it was a great success thanks to the efforts of Miss Litaker Miss Hughes Miss Walser and Mr Porter our sponsors In April we had our unior Senior Banquet and it was highly successful Our theme was Hitch Your Wagon to a Star The entlre class worked together to make the year a success In 1951 when we again passed through the doors of our dear Alma Mater we could hardly bel1eve that we were Senlors W suddenly felt mature and started plann1ng for our careers We elected Bill Payne as President Bobby Renn as V1ce President Amaryllis Beasley as Secretary and Ann Williams as Treasurer Our home room teachers were Miss Litaker Miss Wfalser and Mr Porter In the years to come we shall all look back to the years we spent at our old Alma Mater and remember them as the best years and the happiest years of our lives TYsoN JENNETTE Hzstorzan 2 , A .
