H. H. S. BAND The Henderson High School Band is one of the most outstanding or- ganizations of its kind in North Carolina. Not only is it noted for its musical and marching ability, but it shows how Cooperation in a large group gives best results. The band displays its marching ability at football games and by parades at home and out of town. Each year the band offers two concerts. The band enters in the State Contest annually. both in marching and in playing, not for competition but to find its rating in both these fields. Topping the year is the annual banquet and dance. 28
