LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT O We, the Class of 1945, being in full possession of our minds, and realiz- ing that we must dispose of the following, do make and publish this, our Last Will and Testament. ITEM: We give and bequeath to the dear faculty many nights of rest- ful sleep. No longer need they lie awake worrying if this one is doing her homework or that one is going to pass a geography quiz. It has been a hard strain on them for Seniors are said to be at all times and under all conditions difficult to manage. They have done their duty well and shall have their hard-earned reward. ITEM: To our beloved principal Doc Crowder, we leave our most sincere affections and our heartiest gratitude for all the help we have received from him in his time as principal. ITEM: We give and bequeath to the eleventh grade all such boys as were not able to keep pace with such brilliant girls as compose the majority of our class. COf course, Uncle Sam had nothing to do with it.J ITEM: The following are not trivial bequests, as they may seem, but are valuable assets to those who may receive them. May they be a con- tinual reminder of our generosity of heart. 1. To our homeroom teacher, Miss McKaughan, our admiration and ever-enduring friendship. 2. To Miss Morton a whole room full of sunshine. 3. To Miss Tyree a quiet and more dignified Geography class. 4. To Mr. Hearne many more years of success with the band. 5. To the future President of the Student Body Billy Mitchell's execu- tive ability. 6. To anyone who wants it Martha Evans' wit. Apply early and avoid the rush. h 7.
