Pep Squad members arrive long before the fans to set up and get prepared for the pre-game activities. The student body, whether it be pep squad, drill team, fans, cheerleaders, band, or football team, is tha backbone of team support.

Behind The Lines For every group on campus, there are many supporters behind them. These groups practice, drill, rehearse, plan, attend, and perform to boost spirit and morale in our pride of Lions. The colorful, performing groups like the cheerleaders, drill team, pep squad and band spend many hours — mostly after school — polishing and perfecting cheers, kicks, chants and routines. Other groups led by the Student Council plan special events, take care of concession stands and give rous- ing encouragement to the Lions. It doesn’t matter if the contest is athletic, scholastic, team or in- dividual, we are all Lions, and we are all behind each other. Cheerleaders huddle to decide the weekly winner of the Spirit Stick. Linda Linthicum, The drill teams add color and pageantry to the pep rallies and games head cheerleader, makes each announce ment as full of suspense as possible.

Terry celuavecter cornpletes her fourth year as a high school cheerleader which makes her the first in years. Thanks for four years of dedication, service and plain old hard work.
