Ann Sanders chooses to get her lunch out of the vending machines. it must have been manager's choice in the cafeteria Chow Line Teenagers are often accused of having bottomless pits for stomachs, and the accusation isn’t far off. Junk foods in countless varieties are the staples of our diets. Give us tacos, pizza, hamburgers, french fries, chips, candy bars along with gallons of soft drinks, and we consider ourselves well-fed. Whether it is lunch at school (required by a closed campus), afternoon snacks on the highway, or dinner at home, as long as we're fed frequently (every hour on the hour), we're easier to live with. The snack line is a popular spot in the cafeteria where students can choose from a Variety including pizza, corny dogs, and frito pie. How these ladies prepare enough food to fill up 1004 teenagers is impossible to imagine. Karen Belcher takes Jo Nan Morris's order to McDonald’s which opened on Hwy. 79 this year. Henderson is finally on the map.

Christie Claxton opts for “brown bagging it” and includes healthful grapes in her menu. ts Kerrie Channel enjoys an ‘All-American’ favorite — pizza. Maybe Americans didn’t in- vent it, but they sure consume tt. Orders to go are an important part of teenagers’ lifestyle. Not only is the pace hectic, but actually, some can’t stand to leave their cars. y :
