D, Brewer, Coach Flamvr. Wrestling X Despite a relatively poor record, the wrestling War- riors showed great teamwork and spirit throughout the season. The high point ofthe season came with the defeat of Coatesville. The standout wrestler was tri-captain Tom Herald who won the Section VIII title. Captain Karen Conrad and the 32 member squad had a great season due to the abundance of talent and strong team spirit. Though the Warriorettes had their first loss in four years they ended their season by scoring a high 92.30 against Radnor, their toughest competitor. juniors Den- ise Vale and Linda Egner qualified for regional competi- tion. Denisels outstanding success made her our first state champion where she placed 3rd on beam and 4th in free exercise. We hope that Denise's 74 year will be an even greater success. The squad will be losing 4 talented se- niors, Karen Conrad, Meryl Davis, Cheryl Mc Cowan, and Nancy Veser. The girls, gymnastics team proved to be one of Henderson's athletic highlights of 1973! Cilleml The West Chester Ice Hockey Club is composed of boys from all ofthe secondary schools in the district, who are interested in hard, fast and continuous action. The club has approximately 45 members and fields both Var- sity and junior Varsity Teams. The club competes in the Inter-County Scholastic Hockey League in that both pub- lic and parochial, and city and suburban schools compete.
