Hewlett. it was a season of rebuilding, john Leary succeeded in breaking the school record in the 2-mile with a time of l0:00.6. VARSITY TEAM: Row 1: B. Riecuiti, R. Hashinger, W. Richardson, L. Davis, M. Gordon, T. Durnell. Row 2: R. Wilson A Pratt D. Kirby, L. Nelson, C. Duncan, C. Webb, Coach Ferguson. Led by co-captains Kathy Webb and Wendy Richard- son the high-spirited Warriorettes posted an active season this year. Though the team missed their hoped for Ches- mont title, their 7-3 record was quite commendable. The J. V. proved just as good with a 9-1 record. The Warrior- ettes successfully made it to the playoffs for the second place tie but ended their season there, These girls really worked to make the team a success and are looking for- ward to gaining the Ches-mont title in the future.
